This year’s dinner, once again, will be held at Smiths Court Hotel, 21-27 Eastern Esplanade, Cliftonville, CT9 2HL on Friday 22nd November.
There will be the usual prize giving. The cost is £25 per adult and £15 per child. Children are welcome and they can choose from a smaller version of the adult menu. The dress code is smart casual.
The menu consists of 3 courses:
A choice of:
Starter:
Vegetable Soup served with croutons, cream and herbs or
Cajun calamari – wedge of lemon and aioli or
Creamy garlic mushrooms and chorizo al forno – toasted bread and dressed leaves
Main:
Roast topside of beef – roast potatoes, jumbo Yorkshire pudding, rich gravy or
Chicken Katsu curry – panko breaded chicken breast, stir-fried noodles and vegetables, curry sauce or Herb-crusted cod – basil pesto, sautéed potatoes or
Pesto pancakes (v) ~ filled with feta cheese and mixed roasted vegetables, with a tomato coulis
Dessert:
Sticky toffee pudding – sticky toffee sauce, vanilla Madagascar ice cream or Indulgent chocolate mousse with a shortbread finger or
Strawberry pavlova
