In spite of the chilly weather, 28 riders signed on for the annual Boxing Day 10 mile time trial on the Thanet Way course. The field included several junior riders, and conditions were sunny but very cold due to a keen north westerly breeze. Some riders were riding full aero TT bike and kit, others on a selection of road bikes.
Fastest ride of the day was by Ollie Robinson, who beat Huck Garip by just one second. Ollie’s time was 24.15. A bit further back in third place was Nic Fennell. All time are in the attached file.
Thanks go out to all the helpers who stood around in the cold to ensure everything went off smoothly. They were Teresa Childs, Sue Shields, Simon Henderson, Lawrence Martin, Jim Dickson, Malcolm Adams, Pete Huckstep and Dave Mastin.
