This week’s evening 10 mile time trial on the Thanet Way course had a field of 20 riders, who enjoyed some of the best conditions this year. The temperature was up around 20C, and the wind was light and variable in direction. Possibly attracted by the weather, Kevin Tye (VeloRefined), and Matt Nunn (Medway Velo) made the long trip down to ride the event.

The times reflected the good conditions, and Matt Nunn was the lantern rouge but still recorded a PB of 26.05. Second claim member Chris Fennell was fastest with 20.19, which may well be a course record. The honour of fastest TRC rider went to Michael Friend with 24.07, a course PB for him. Times can be found in the attachment.

Volunteers this week were Malcolm Adams, Brian Hood, Huck Garip, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.

Please remember that we always need helpers to ensure the events can take place. Any TRC rider who does not assist in at least 2 events will not be eligible for the points competition.
