A total of 42 riders signed on at Betteshanger for the latest evening “10”, a small field considering the weather was sunny and no threat of rain. There was a stiff breeze facing the riders on the long descent down the main straight.
Chris Fennell updated his course record by another 5 seconds, to lower it to 19.40! Yet another great performance by Chris. There were PB’s this week for some riders, including Scott Meeks and Mike Kirkness. Some riders were quicker than last week, while others lost some time. It seems that the change in wind direction from last week suited some but not all riders.
Our fastest junior rider was Dan Martin with 21.33, with Ollie Robinson in second with 21.53. Second place senior was Simon Henderson, possibly the most consistent rider, with 22.11. Times can be found in the attached PDF files.
Thanks go to our helpers as always; this week they were Leo and Teresa Childs, Brian Hood, Tony Arnold, Terry Fearn, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.
