It was another good evening at Betteshanger CP for the latest round of evening 10 mile time trials for the 45 riders who signed on. It was warm, with a NE breeze pushing riders down the main straight. Overall, times were quicker for those riders who hade ridden the previous week, and there were several PB’s recorded, including George Pittock, Caroline Rigby and Mike Kirkness. It was good to see Breda Pooke having her first ride and getting inside the 30 minute mark.
Eight juniors rode, and fastest time was by Alex Ashman with 23.44. Toby Perry rode his first 10 and came second with 24.57, which is a corrected time from his time for 6 laps. Once again, Chris Fennell was our quickest senior with yet another ride under 20 minutes, clocking in at 19.50, more than 2 minutes ahead of the second placed rider.
Times for all riders are in the attached PDF files.
Thanks to this weeks band of helpers, Teresa and Leo Childs, Sue Shields, Megan Griffiths, Chris Redmond, Pip McVey, Dave Danton, Pete Huckstep, Terry Fearn and Andy McCall.
