The final evening “10” of the season was held at Betteshanger CP in bright but windy conditions, with a stiff easterly breeze for the riders to battle against. It was an evening of mixed fortunes for the riders, with PB’s for some and disappointing times for others. A total of 48 riders signed on, consisting of 12 juniors and 36 seniors.
In the junior event, there were PB’s for Freya Cook and Dan van Hinsbergh, whilst fastest rider was Ollie Robinson with 22.16. Moving onto the seniors, Scott Meeks and Nic Fennell both came away with PB’s, and Nic’s brother Chris, riding in Thanet RC colours, was fastest overall with a very respectable 20.21. Times are to be found in the attachments.
As always, our thanks go to the helpers who have made it possible for all the events to take place this season. This week thanks go to Teresa Childs, Terry Fearn, Mark Palmer, Trevor Hammond, Dan Martin, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.
