The opening evening “10” at Fowlmead only attracted 29 riders, which was no big surprise as the weather was cold, windy and damp! We had 8 juniors and 21 seniors take part to test whether the winter training had worked or not!
Fastest junior was Ollie Robinson, who recorded 24.06, which was also the 3rd fastest time overall. Riding her first “10” was Freya Cook who battled against the wind to record 42.16. Fastest senior rider Thanet RC’s time trial secretary, Simon Henderson with 23.10. Times can be found in the attachments.
Thanks as usual go to our band of helpers; Teresa Childs, Terry Fearn, Paul Griffiths, Ken Shepard, Garry Harrison, Phil Cook, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.
