This week’s evening 10 mile time trial at Fowlmead was held in good conditions and at the end, a number of riders were heard to say “that was a PB for me”. In total we had a good field of 49 riders, of which just 6 were juniors. Riding her first 10 was Diana Yemm, who did a very respectable 30.30. It was also the first outing for Brian Hood’s new TT bike and he got under 25 minutes, so perhaps that was money well spent?

Once again, the fastest junior rider was Olly Dickson with 24.00. Chris Fennell was our fastest senior with 20.20, which I believe is a PB for Chris. Fastest Thanet rider was Simon Henderson with 22.21 in fifth place.

The times are to be found in the attachments below. I have also included a link to Cliftonville Cycles’ Facebook page, provided by Mel Webb. Here you can find photos taken on the night by Simon Foster of Cliftonville Cycles. As usual, Tony Warne was also taking photos as well, and I have included the link to Tony’s Flickr page.

Once again, thanks must go out to our helpers, Teresa Childs, Emma Dickson, Chris Redmond, Malcolm Adams, Amdy McCall and Dave Mastin.

There are just two more evening 10’s this year at Fowlmead on 3rd and 10th September. I will not be available on 3rd September, so Andy McCall will appreciate some help with the timekeeping.
