A combination of good weather and school holidays resulted in 65 riders signing on for the second of the season’s evening 10’s at Fowlmead. However, in spite of a sunny day, the temperature was
quite low due to an onshore breeze.
In total, there was 14 juniors and 51 seniors taking part. Fastest junior was Ollie Robinson again, with a very respectable time of 23.41. Riding his first 10 was 7 year old Lughaidh Cook who did well and recorded 40.49, whilst sister Freya improved on her time from last week by several minutes. The fastest senior rider was Thanet RC’s Seb Dickson, who dipped under 21 minutes with 20.58. Times for all riders can be found in the attached files.
Thanks to all our helpers on the night, Teresa Childs, Chris Redmond, Tony Arnold, Ken Shepard, Andy McCall, Terry Fearn and Dave Mastin.
