This week, it was back to the regular distance of 10 miles at Betteshanger CP. The weather was warm with wind from the south west. A total of 42 riders took part, including a good showing of 13 juniors and a tandem.
Top junior by a considerable margin was Toby Perry who stopped the watch in a fine time of 22.05, which was also the second fastest overall time of the evening. Second place went to Toby Yemm in 25.18, while fastest girl was Catherine Morrell with a time of 26.06.
Fastest senior rider was Nic Fennell who recorded a time of 20.32, and Faye Faiers was our quickest woman in a time of 26.14. Finally, the tandem pair of Sue Shields and Andy McCall ended up with 25.52.

The event next week on 29th August will be the 2-up, which was planned for Good Friday, but cancelled due to the weather. There will also be the opportunity for solo riders who are unable to pair up with another rider.
