The latest club evening time trial was held at Betteshanger CP over 25 miles. The weather was not typical of BCP with sun, warmth and light winds, which resulted in a number of PB’s and youth age related records.
Only 3 of the 4 juniors who signed on finished, with George Bussey suffering a puncture. Fastest was George Pittock with 1.02.06, which is an age record for a 14 year old, and Lance Childs was second with 1.03.33, an age record for a 13 year old.
32 senior solo riders took part, and again there was a DNF, which was club newcomer Sam Bradford. Fastest ride was by Chris Fennell with an excellent 50.33, beating brother Nic into 2nd place by more that two minutes.
Finally, there was a 3-up on course, with Emma Lewis and Joss Lowden (Aprire) practicing for the national team time trial championships, with Jon Parker as a guest. They recorded a time of 55.19.
All times can be found in the PDF documents below.
