The warmest day of the year so far brought out the biggest field of riders ever for the latest evening 10. In total. 88 riders signed on; 19 juniors and 69 seniors. Thanks to the good conditions there were numerous PB’s achieved, and many riders over 1 minute quicker than the times they had set the previous week.
Fastest of the juniors was Ollie Robinson with a great time of 22.00, closely followed by Dan Martin with 22.12. Enjoying his first ever event was 11 year old Jerry Sykes who rode round with a smile on his face to record 44.30.
Fresh from his good ride at the weekend’s University Championships, our fastest senior rider was David Hewett of Cambridge University CC. David stayed on course this week to win by over a minute with 20.31. The fastest senior Thanet RC rider was Simon Henderson with 22.13. Times can be found in the attached files.
