George Pittock completed the Channel 50 Challenge, a 50 mile charity bike ride, yesterday. The excellent event was very well organised by the Folkestone Rotary Club to raise money for the Air Ambulance, Pilgrims Hospices and other local charities. There was a choice of 10, 30, or 50 mile routes on Romney Marsh. We chose the 50 mile route and rode together as a family. George completed the 50 miles (52 miles actually!!) very comfortably in 3 hours 34 minutes and we had a very good day. 500 people took part and raised more than £10,000
Also Hannah Bennett completed the 100km San Fairy Ann CC Audax event on Sunday
