The club held it’s first Good Friday time trial at Betteshanger CP for the first time since the outbreak of Covid 2 years ago. The weather was good but the turnout was rather disappointing.
It was a sunny but cool day due to the stiff easterly breeze coming off the sea. We had just 2 pairs for the 2-up, and 5 solo riders in total.
The fastest 2-up team was the pairing of Tanya Scott and Faye Faiers with a good time of 25.40. Joe Sweetland recorded the best time of the solo riders with 26.29, and Toby Clayson was first of the junior riders in a time of 28.12.
Please see.attached file for the times of all riders. Thanks to the group of helpers: Michael Friend, Michael Gilchrist, Steve Wright, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.
