Thanet RC picked another very warm day for their annual summer party although there were a few showers during the afternoon. The day started with the ride out which attracted 25 riders most of which completed the 47 mile route via the café stop in Walmer and only encountered one thunderstorm. Polka dot winner was Jack Hill and green Jersey Lance Childs and white jersey had to go to our youngest rider Bramble Langman. Well done to all those that took part.
The Afternoon was enjoyed by all with a superb BBQ delivered by head chef Rob Edmondson and his two able helpers George and Ollie. Also well done to the baking team for all their hard work in making the event so special: Nicola, Helen, Emma and Tansy.
We also had a bit of fun on the grasstrack oval with the times posted below.
