Matt Seward is homing in on the finish of the Trans Atlantic Highway Race in 2nd place.
You can read about the event here: https://www.transatlanticway.com/
The TransAtlanticWay is a 2500 km one stage self-supported road bike ride between Dublin and Cork via The Wild Atlantic Way.
That is correct … a 2500km race … no stages just get there ASAP.
Matt is currently in 2nd position and is just 112 km from the finish.
You can follow his progress here: http://trackleaders.com/transatlantic19f.php
Matt has averaged a staggering 226 miles per day for the last 6 days in a row … incredible.
Matt is doing this for charity raising money for the Pilgrims Hospice.

We see plenty of charity bike rides but I don’t think any are more worthy than this effort by Matt so I am sure many TRC members will be supporting Matt’s fundraising.
