The hard winter training and winter track league races seems to have helped Ollie and he won in his first road race of the year in the cat 2-3 SERLL winter league race at Cyclopark winning the sprint from a small breakaway group in field of 25. Ollie tried a number of breaks early on but was not allowed to go clear however 6 riders eventually got away to build up a break of nearly 1 min. Ollie then bridged a gap on final lap to 2 riders then went on to win the sprint. Well done to other local rider Jason Oram (Adalta CC) who came a brilliant 3rd place. Good start of year for the club!
