Just 8 riders turned out for the club’s annual one hour time trial at Betteshanger. Conditions were cold, grey and windy, which was more typical of Betteshanger after a run of warm and sunny events.

The one hour TT is an event where riders use their cycle computers to ride for an hour and measure the distance covered in that time.

The largest distance covered was 24.8 miles by Simon Henderson, having his first outing on his time trial machine since his accident several weeks ago. The greatest distance covered by a woman was 22.4 miles by Faye Faiers.

Miles covered were as follows:-
Simon Henderson: 24.8,
Richard McVey (GS Invicta): 24.35,
Steve Perriss: 23.8,
Faye Faiers: 22.4,
Pete Huckstep: 21.0,
Colin Inett: 21.0,
Robert Sissons: 19.9.
Roger Dewen: 17.7.
