Once again, the weather was not that favourable for the latest evening time trial at Betteshanger CP. Although dry, there was a strong north easterly wind which made conditions very challenging, particularly around the rear of the circuit towards the hairpin. As a result, times were affected by these conditions. A number of riders who had entered decided not to ride, but there was a good turnout of 6 junior riders, out of a field of just 13 riders in total.
Dougie Tulett’s time of 25.30 gave him top spot amongst the juniors and Nina Reid was fastest girl with 29.56. Neil Gerrard made his first appearance of the season at an evening “10” and went away with the best time of the evening, 23.41. The honour of fastest female rider went to Sorcha Page in a time of 30.31. The attachment has the times of all riders.
