Report and times for last week’s 10 from Dave Mastin
22 riders “enjoyed” the best conditions of the season so far at Betteshanger CP for the latest evening “10”. However, that wasn’t saying a lot, as it was still chilly and breezy. Luckily, it was another dry ride for all who took part.
Seven junior riders took to the start line, and there were some decent times posted by some riders. I believe there may have been PB’s for Alice Tulett and Lawson Bax. It was no surprise that Dougie Tulett was top of the times with 24.32, while our fastest girl was Nina Reid in 4th place in a time of 30.15.
It was a couple of second claim members who headed the times for both men and women. In first place overall was Lance Childs (TAAP Endura) with another fine time of 20.36. Making her first Betteshanger appearance for several years was Alex Clay (Team Bottrill), coming in third with 22.23. Neil Gerrard was first full Thanet RC member home in second place, clocking 22.10. Faye Faiers was the fastest Thanet RC woman with 27.53.
Please see the attachment for the times of all riders.
The band of helpers this week was Teresa Childs, Terry Fearn, Malcolm Adams, Andy McCall and Dave Mastin.
