This week’s time trial was a 25 mile test held in warm conditions at Betteshanger CP. A total of 32 riders signed on for the event, comprising 22 seniors, 6 juniors and two sets of tandem riders.

Toby Yemm was fastest junior in a good time of 1.04.57, while a special mention goes to 9 year old Douglas Tulett who complete the distance in 1.46.16.

Chris Fennell of the Independent Pedaler warmed up for the National 25 with an impressive ride of 49.22 to head the senior field, while TRC’s Nic Fennell, who is also competing in the National 25, was second in a time of 52.29. Faye Faiers was first woman with 1.07.42.

First tandem in 1.08.28 was Sue Shields and Andy McCall, just under a minute ahead of the Robinson team of Colin and Max, who recorded 1.09.14.
