Staring off a busy day of racing was the club’s annual hill climb, held once again on the short, sharp climb from the beach at St Margarets. This was organised by Seb Dickson and 12 riders signed on for the brief but intense effort required to overcome gravity! The weather was very good with a warm late September morning providing ideal conditions. Retaining his title was Jason Oram with a fine time of 2.10, several seconds better than his time from 2013. A number of the riders then made their way to Fowlmead for the club’s first omnium event.
