TRC needs a Press and Publicity Officer; are you interested?
We have had some significant events and results recently. Club and Race Team members have achieved some brilliant results on the track, road and time-trial with some truly astonishing rides. We really need to publicise these results more widely than we do at present. The club remains the home for serious cyclists across a broad range of disciplines in East Kent and we should celebrate and communicate this to our community.
Our club website and social media feeds are working very well thanks to Rick Perkins. These provide a good record of recent achievements which can be used to frame press releases. More details are always available from the various leaders of each discipline (Rob Milnes road/track), Simon Henderson (Time-trial) and Colin Robinson (Go Ride and Coaching).
Success of TRC depends on the hard work of volunteers and works best when the effort is shared. There is an opportunity here for an individual to forge links with local media and communicate our sporting success. It could be a very rewarding activity for the right person.
