Plenty of time trial action to report from the past couple of weeks.
Well done to Nic Fennell who came a very creditable 4th in the Redmon CC 10 last weekend in what looked like very challenging conditions. Nic posted a 20:59 on the course in Dorking.
Saturday 15th May 2021- Medway Velo 10 – Q10/6 Chilham.
TRC had a good turnout on Q10/6 at Chilham early on Saturday morning.
Conditions were not the best. It started raining on the way to the event and there was steady rain for most of us. There was a slight southerly breeze, probably a good direction for this course. It was warmer than a few weeks ago- this week ½ hour riding your bike followed by a few hours cleaning it, at least we are riding outside, even if it is wet!
Tallulah Butcher had a good ride smashing her course record by over a minute, finishing with a 28:21, picking up an award as the fastest female junior
Nic Fennell was top of the shop for TRC with a 20:59, only beaten by the event winner and his brother Chris Fennell (The Independent Pedaler – Nopinz) who posted a 20:07.
