John Griffith
Many of you will have seen the article below that Colin published in the February NewsWheel:
I have received the sad news recently of the death of John the husband of Gill Griffith. They were both members of the club for many years until moving to Wales some 5 years ago, Gill is a former Committee Member. John became ill with dementia and had been in a care home for 2 years and was unable to walk. Unfortunately Covid got into the care home, John picked it up almost immediately and passed away soon after.
I sent a message of condolence to Gill from the Club she was very appreciative. She also said that if anyone wants to use her house for a base for cycling in Wales they will be very welcome to use one of her 3 spare bedrooms. She lives 11 miles from Llangollen, about an hour`s drive to Snowdonia.
There is now a tribute page for John where those who knew can remember, add thoughts, memories, light a candle, make a donation.
