West Kent Road Club 10 Q10/22 Harrietsham:
Six Thanet RC riders competed in the West Kent RC 10 at Harrietsham on Saturday morning to encounter blustery but dry and fairly mild conditions. The strong SW wind made progress to the turn at Charing fairly quick but never completely favourable, and the return was always tough. Times were as follows:

Oliver was fastest Junior and Bill was 3rd on scratch and OAS. Fastest time was an impressive 20.44 by Jon Parker (PMR@Toachim House).

Sydenham Wheelers 25 Q25/20 Harrietsham
Another strong field from TRC with 8 riders completing – the largest contingent from the local clubs
Well done to Ollie Dickson who was an impressive + 4 minutes quicker than last week as well as Colin Inett who was the only other improver on his time from last Sunday!
Rick was in personal deliberation about a course PB – well done Rick on a course PB.
There was some disappointment amongst the field that the event did not run as planned on Q25/8 (Molash) due to 3 way traffic lights at the Chilham fork.
At least the weather was fine if a little cold (6°C) with a gentle breeze that favoured the early starters with a little help back from Ashford.
