Weekend TT round up:
Saturday 4th May 2014 – RTTC National Championship
Second claimers Chris Fennell and Jon Parker (both PMR@Toachimhouse) ventured up country for the next round of the RTTC championship
They were both just pipped into 3rd and 4th place by 14 seconds from the second place rider with Chris 1-08-21 and Jon on 1-08-25
Chris took the Espoirs prize – both great rides-
Out front the event winner was Matthew Bottrill 1-04-08….
Sunday 5th May 2014- Wigmore 25 Q25/8
12 TRC riders were up bright and early on this clear, sunny and chilly morning to battle with the Q25/8
There was a full field of 120 riders and 9 reserves – great to see.
The father and son teams of the Dickson’s and Robinson’s had a good showing
Seb led the way with another 25 PB – 55:56 great ride – well done.
Frustrating ride of the day was for Mark Palmer who did the 1:00:01(that most of us have done at some time!)
TRC times in start order(my interpretation):
Simon Henderson 58:36
Oliver Robinson 01:07:45

Thanks to Martin Trice and Wigmore for a fantastic event yet again
Monday 5th May 2014- VTTA National 10 F11/10
Simon Henderson and local rider and friend of the club Martin Dickinson from Deal Tri made the 2 hour journey to ride the F11/10 – on what has to be one of the fastest course in this part of the country (Tring- Hertfordshire)
Conditions seemed favourable with a 16mph cross/tail wind on the longest leg along the A41.
2 of what must have been a number of PB’s for 1st time riders of the ‘drag strip’ resulted for the duo who both went home very happy
Simon Henderson 20:56
Martin Dickinson (Deal Tri) 21:11
Event winner TBC
