The first of two events this weekend on the A20 at Harrietsham / Charing was the West Kent RC 10 mile time trial. Unlike conditions a fortnight earlier, the wind was much lighter, leading to a lot of early fog on the course and a start delay of 30 minutes to allow the conditions to improve.
The club was represented by 11 riders in a field of just 53 riders. After his DNF at the club 10 three days earlier, Chris Fennell was back up to speed, and claimed second place with 20.19. Fastest ride of the day was by Keith Murray of Drag2Zero with 20.01.
